370 Indian students to bag UK scholarships
The British Council on Nov 27 announced scholarships worth 100 million Rupees for 370 Indian students, which it claimed is the largest-ever initiative for the country. The scholarships will cover 260 undergraduate and postgraduate courses across 56 universities in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. “It’s an endeavor to attract India’s brightest students to our universities,” said Ottolie Wekezer, regional director, Services of International Education Marketing (South Asia), British Council.
