More than three-quarters of parents would consider sending their children abroad for university, according to global banking giant HSBC. Parents in Asia in particular are willing to overcome cost barriers to give their children an international education. Of the 5,500 parents surveyed across 16 countries, 77% said they would consider having their children study abroad at either the undergraduate or postgraduate level to help them stand out in competitive job markets.
