Big success for IIT-BHU graduate heading to the USA
The Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) claimed a major success story in the current placement season, as one of its students was hired Oracle, a leading American technology firm, at a compensation of Rs. 2.03 crore (US$324,022).
At the same time, other IITs like the one in Delhi report that domestic offers seem to be gaining traction – some graduates have turned down international offers over US$125,000 per annum to stay in India and work for a domestic player.
