Chinese college students deem frugality important in life: survey
Over 80 percent of college students interviewed in a recent survey believe that frugality is important in one’s life, China Youth Daily reported.
Of the 1,988 college students surveyed, 87.9 percent thought people should be frugal, while 83.8 percent claimed that they pay attention to their costs of living expenses.
Most of the students surveyed managed to maintain their monthly living expenses in a reasonable range, with 77.3 percent of the interviewees spending between 1,000 yuan (141.4 U.S. dollars) and 2,000 yuan each month.
