FIRST DISASTER RELIEF TRAINING INSTITUTE TO BE SET UP
China’s first-ever national training centre for disaster relief and management is to be set up by the end of 2011 in Sichuan province, in collaboration with Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU). It aspires to be a world-class disaster management research centre. HKPU will contribute expertise in areas covering healthcare, social work and rehabilitation.
