Gaokao reform in Jiangxi Province
Representatives from the Jiangxi Provincial Ministry of Education released the official Suggestions of Reform of 2015 college entrance examination in Jiangxi Province on Dec. 5, 2014. The suggestions indicated that from 2015, Gaokao in Jiangxi province will use the unified national college entrance examination papers. Since 2017, when freshmen enter the high school, students can take English tests twice per year and only the highest score will be counted. In addition, Gaokao in Jiangxi province will not be divided into humanity stream and science stream from 2017.
