When did you join Grok?
What was your first job in international education?
I was China representative for University of Queensland from 2008 to 2015. As University of Queensland launched in China, I contributed to building acnetwork of agents, partners and other stakeholders, and establishing and implementing marketing strategies. This working experience and my studies in the UK help with my current job at University of Essex.
What does international education mean for you?
The study experience in the UK opened my mind. Now as a professional working in international education, I can meet intelligent people and influence more young people. Apart from higher education, I also care about international education from Pre-K, from the perspective of a mum.
What is one of the most satisfying outcomes you’ve helped a client to achieve?
The University of Essex China team grew from two to eight staff in the last three years. With great passion and support, I am proud to help University of Essex raise their profile and continue to grow in China.
What is your favourite movie?
Butterfly Effect. It explores the possibilities and destiny of life
What is your dream travel destination? Why?
USA. I have never been there and it would be lovely to see. It would be much different to the UK and Australia.
When it is time to relax, what do you like to do?
Go out with friends or go to a spa.
What is something other Grokkers probably don’t know about you?
I learned French during university and got an intermediate certificate from Alliance Française.
What was your favorite subject at high school? Why?
My favorite and best subject was math. It is a magical subject. There is a great sense of achievement when solving puzzles.
