Guangzhou signs agreements with Finnish sister city
The Guangdong provincial capital of Guangzhou signed a group of MOU agreements with Tampere, Finland to expand their cooperation on vocational education. The vocational schools in both cities will advance their cooperation in teaching and training, between schools and enterprises, and in quality management and assessments. The mayors from the two cities agreed that the cooperation will be mutually beneficial. The Deputy Mayor of Guangzhou added that vocational education has great potential in the Pearl River Delta region, since it continues to suffer from a lack of skilled workers.
