Indonesian student enrolment at US universities reaches record high

There are more Indonesian students attending colleges and universities in the US now than at any time in the last ten years, according the International Institute of Education. The organization reported around 8,200 students from Indonesia enrolled at universities in the US between the September 2014 and May 2015. This is the highest number in a decade and represents a 10% increase in Indonesian student enrollment since 2005.

Indonesia was named one of the top emerging markets for US college international recruitment in a study by World Education Services, another non-profit organization that focuses on helping international students secure a place at universities in the US and Canada.
