Singapore – survey raises questions about TNE employment outcomes

Singaporeans graduating from private higher-education institutions, including some British and Australian universities, are finding it harder to land graduate jobs compared to graduates of Singapore’s high-ranking public institutions, a survey by Singapore’s Council for Private Education has found.

The pilot graduate employment survey published in September gathered data on graduates with bachelor degrees from nine private institutions in Singapore, surveying around a third of the 12,600 students who graduated in 2014 from the named institutions – several of them running transnational education degrees from well-known British and Australian universities.
