Microsoft aims at 100 innovation centers in India

Microsoft has said it aims to increase the number of Microsoft Innovation Centers (MICs) in India to 100 from the current 32 by the end of next June. These centers, which are established on the premises of educational institutions mainly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, serve as platforms which bring together local academicians, local government agencies and local software economies to help develop innovative ideas from students.
