MORE THAN 230,000 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH STUDIED IN CHINA IN 2009
According the latest data from Bureau of Education, there were 238,134 international students in China in 2009, coming from more than 190 countries. 2009 represents the greatest historical levels in terms of total number of students, state enrollment, the number of Chinese institutions accepting international students and Chinese government scholarship grants to foreign students. Compared with 2008, the number of international students in China increased by 6.6%.
