NEW YORK UNIVERSITY TO ESTABLISH SHANGHAI CAMPUS
China’s Ministry of Education has approved NYU’s plan to build a separate, degree-granting American campus in Shanghai, which will also be China’s first international university co-established by higher-learning institutes from the two countries. The new campus is expected to open as early as fall 2013. More than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students from across the world will be admitted every academic year. Chinese students will comprise the majority.
