New Zealand schools funded to build links with China

China Education News

The New Zealand government on Oct. 28, 2015 announced that 25 schools will be funded to promote exchanges with Chinese schools. The schools would each receive up to 2,500 NZ dollars (1,700 USD) from the China-New Zealand Sister School Fund.
Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment Minister Steven Joyce said the fund enabled schools to support staff or student exchanges, curriculum-based collaborative projects, and to offer enhanced Chinese language programs with New Zealand’s largest trading partner.
