NOKIA, PEARSON TO OFFER MOBILE EDUCATION
Nokia and Pearson have formed a joint venture, Beijing Mobiledu Technologies, to expand an existing Nokia service that delivers learning materials to mobile phones, Nokia announced. Launched in 2007, Nokia’s Mobiledu currently has 20 million subscribers in China and 1.5 million active users monthly, according to the company statement.
Mobiledu will continue to provide English-language and other learning content from a variety of providers to users through channels including Nokia’s Ovi store.
