Number of IELTS test takers up by 11%
A record two million International English Language Testing System (IELTS) tests were taken worldwide over the last 12 months, representing an 11% rise. It marks the eighteenth year of consecutive growth of the test. IELTS said demand remained high in countries such as China, India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Turkey, as well as Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.
