Qingdao TV partners with US Chinese TV network
The city of Qingdao’s local TV network, Qingdao TV, signed a cooperation agreementon September 19 with Hollywood Chinese TV. The Los Angeles, California-based network carries TV programs that are popular with Chinese-Americans, such as American Dream and Chitu Mall.
The partnership calls for joint development of TV programs and the sharing of media resources to facilitatecross-cultural promotion, including promoting the city of Qingdao. The Qingdao government plans to build on this momentum by pursuing more exchanges abroad in media, culture, and education.
