The Indian Institute of Technology – Madras (IIT-M) launches incubator for start-ups in biotech
IIT-Madras director Dr. BhaskarRamamurthi inaugurated a biotechnology incubator on Thursday that will support four projects of doctoral students from the institution’s biotechnology department.
The initiative, supported by the Government of India’s Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council, aims to help start-ups and small and medium enterprises develop products and make them commercially successful.
