UWS looks for opportunities in Pingtan FTZ
A delegation from the University of Western Sydney (UWS), led by president Barney Glover, visited the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone in Fujian province on March 23rd. UWS and local officials explored potential areas for cooperation and pointed to Pingtan’s focus on medical technology and UWS’ high quality nursing program, as well as the potential to jointly build an international school. In the future, Pingtan can partner up with more overseas universities to bring in more students and give them lucrative career options, said Lan Yizhen, executive assistant vice-president of UWS.
