With 885 colleges, Bangalore tops the country: Survey
IT city Bangalore can lay claim to a new tag. It is also a city of colleges, according to the All-India Survey on Higher Education conducted by the Union Ministry for Human Resource Development (MHRD). The survey says: “Bangalore district tops in the number of colleges with 885, followed by Hyderabad with 544 colleges.”
