What were you doing before working at Grok?
Before joining Grok, I held the position of Senior Recruitment Adviser supporting York University, Canada where I managed India strategy and operations, overseeing stakeholder relationships, sales, global engagement, and brand communication.

What was your first job in education?
In my initial foray into the education sector, I held the position of Head of Operations – India at the University of Malta, stationed at the High Commission of Malta in New Delhi. In this pivotal role, my primary responsibilities centered around spearheading business development, facilitating market entry strategies, overseeing student recruitment initiatives, and fostering valuable institutional partnerships.

What does international education mean for you?
Engaging in international education is more than a career choice for me; it’s a transformative journey that extends far beyond geographical borders. It revolves around nurturing global perspectives, facilitating cultural exchange, and unlocking opportunities for individuals to broaden their horizons.
Being an international student myself, I have personally navigated the challenges and embraced the enriching aspects of cross-cultural education. This first-hand experience fuels my dedication to creating pathways for global understanding and educational enrichment

What is something interesting you have learned while working at Grok?
Working at Grok I have learned how strategic collaboration and fostering a positive work culture significantly contribute not only to your personal and professional growth but also in propelling the overall advancement of the organization.

What is one of the most satisfying outcomes you’ve helped a client achieve?
One of the most satisfying outcomes I have contributed to at Grok is successfully supporting projects to improve the overall client experience, ensuring our clients receive the best possible support and service.

What is your favorite book?
One of my favorite books is “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. Its profound messages about pursuing dreams and discovering one’s personal legend resonate with me.

What is your dream travel destination? Why?
My dream travel destination is Santorini, Greece. The picturesque landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture make it a perfect blend for a serene yet culturally enriching experience.

What is your favorite food to eat with friends?
My go-to comfort food, especially when shared with friends or enjoyed solo, is anything from South Indian cuisine. The vibrant flavors and diverse dishes make it my absolute favorite, creating a delightful culinary experience

What is something you’ve learned from somebody inspirational?
From my experiences, I have  learned the importance of resilience and adaptability from inspirational figures.
