What were you doing before working at Grok?
Prior to Grok, I led People functions in government services and education, including with the largest provider of practice-focused legal and business education for university graduates seeking to qualify as practising lawyers.
What was your first job in education?
I founded and ran a home tutoring business while at university.
What does international education mean to you?
International education represents endless opportunities for learning and growth. It’s about creating access to knowledge and experiences that open doors across cultures, broaden perspectives, and equip people with the skills to thrive in a global environment.
What is something interesting you have learned while working at Grok?
I continue to learn every day from our diverse employees, who bring such deep knowledge, perspectives and experiences from around the world. It is a constant reminder of the power of diversity, not only in driving better outcomes for clients but also in shaping a more inclusive and dynamic workplace.
What is one of the most satisfying outcomes you’ve helped a client to achieve?
One of the most satisfying outcomes has been leading major transformation to realign people strategy with business objectives. The true reward was not only establishing structures that enabled growth and strengthened leadership, but also seeing employees become more engaged, confident, and purposeful as a result.
What is your favourite movie?
Rain Man. A story about brothers that reminds me of the importance of patience, empathy, and appreciating people’s differences.
What is your dream travel destination?
Any Greek island, nothing beats the crystal-clear waters, amazing food, and the perfect mix of relaxation and culture.
What is your favourite food to eat with friends?
Pizza!
