Thao is Director for Vietnam at Grok Global Services. Thao brings over a decade of experience in international student recruitment and global engagement. Her career has been defined by a deep belief that authentic relationships are the key to unlocking educational opportunities. Through a collaborative approach with recruitment channels, she has been fortunate to contribute to the success of student mobility programs and the professional development of hundreds of teachers across Southeast Asia. Thao's focus at Grok is to support her team of Program Officers, working alongside them to cultivate a generation of leaders who are equally committed to building a sustainable and impactful international education industry. A chance to see the world endlessly

What is one of the most satisfying professional outcomes you’ve achieved?
Keeping in touch with students and parents I recruited 10 years ago.

What is your favorite book or movie?
Harry Potter

What is your dream travel destination? Why?
Bhutan because they feel peaceful (and I have not been to it)

What is your favorite food to eat with friends?
Anything, it’s with friends so being with friends is already my favorite time.

What is something you’ve learned from somebody inspirational?
 I am inspired by how different people move on in life with different characteristics. What inspires me in principle is the way people take ownership and become their better selves.

What was your favorite subject at high school or university?
English at high school and Philosophy at university because it connects me well with other cultures and perspectives.
