Deakin University, ISB sign pact for research collaboration

India Education News

Deakin University of Australia and the Indian School of Business (ISB) will collaborate in several areas, a list that includes research, teaching and student exchange programs. An announcement on Monday from the ISB said that the two institutions had signed a memorandum of association. Internationalizing the curriculum and development of innovative approaches to meeting international accreditation standard are the other areas on which they will work together.
Michael Ewing, Dean of Deakin Business School, Deakin University and Sridhar Seshadri, Senior Associate Dean, Faulty and Research of ISB signed the agreement, which is initially for three years from October 21. Professor Ewing said this is the next “logical step in cementing a long-term, mutually rewarding partnership with the ISB. Faculty have visited each other’s institutions on a few occasions and we recently successfully piloted a joint, synchronous case study – whereby ISB and DBS students analyzed the same case-study in real-time.”
