IIT aims at improving international ranking
Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT-KGP) has started inviting foreign students, faculty, and Nobel laureates to its campus each year with an aim of improving its international ranking. “It is important for us to improve our international ranking and so now we are encouraging our students and faculty to go out to foreign universities and are also getting their ones to come here for visits,” said Siddhartha Mukhopadhyay, Dean of Alumni and International Relations at IIT-KGP.
