Global Education News

New Zealand’s education industry has reversed a two-year decline in overseas enrolments with a record number of international students enrolling 2014, led by increases in students from India and China. The January-April enrolment period was the strongest on record with an increase of 8% (5,100 international students) over the same period in 2013.
The report showed that India was the largest contributor to the year-over-year growth, with Indian enrolment rising by 41% leading to 2,996 additional students. Chinese growth was a close second, showing a 12% increase (2,212 additional students) in Chinese enrolment.
