We are looking for a talented, dedicated professional to be a Guangzhou-based Student Recruitment Advisor supporting UNSW College via Grok Global Services’ Program Office. The successful candidate will primarily focus on assisting in the promotion of UNSW College programs to prospective students, their parents; education representatives and other stakeholders in the Chinese market.

This position will be working alongside the Senior Regional Manager, China, to achieve the international student recruitment target for China across the Academic and English pathway programs offered by UNSW College in Sydney, Australia.

The position is also tasked with developing and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders including future students, their parents and guardians; key agent partners; and UNSW Sydney; as well as internal stakeholders including Admissions, Marketing and Communications staff amongst others.

The Most Suitable Background

  • Relevant professional qualifications in a discipline such as sales, marketing or international studies.
  • 1-3 years of experience in increasingly responsible roles related to international education and recruitment.
  • Demonstrated sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively build and manage effective networks and relationships with multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds leading to quality business outcomes.
  • Fluency in both English and Putonghua. Candidates with Cantonese language skills will be highly regarded.
  • Strong public-facing communication and confidence – including presentation skills, oral and written English language communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyse material and data, summarise key issues and report as appropriate.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and ability to undertake domestic and international travel when required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and experience in coordinating projects, work flows and resources to ensure positive customer outcomes
  • Familiarity and experience in Microsoft Office, CRM and collaborative online platforms.
