Modi raises new war cry: “Make in India!”
On 15th August India celebrated its 68th Independence Dayand Prime Minister Mr. Modi marked the historic day with an inspirational speech on various topics outlining his vision for India. Modi ended 10 years of soporific Independence Day speeches by delivering an impromptu speech inviting global firms to set up manufacturing bases in India. By asking companies to Make in India, Modi wants to fix multiple economic problems including low employment creation, slow economic growth and high trade deficits.”Come, make in India. Be it plastics or cars or satellites or agricultural products, come make in India,” the Prime Minister said.
