Promoting Canadian Education in China
The Consulate General of Canada in Chongqing, China is currently planning an Education Tour of Southwest China, scheduled for November 7-12, 2013. The Education Tour will bring a delegation of recruitment representatives from Canadian post-secondary institutions to Kunming, Chongqing, and Chengdu. The Consulate will facilitate meetings and networking between the Canadian delegates and local governmental education departments, high schools, and educational agents, as well as regional commercial banks representing VIP clients interested in sending their children abroad for post-secondary study in Canada.Canadian institutions wishing to participate should contact Peter Liao (Trade Commissioner at the Chongqing Consulate and head of the education marketing team, Peter.Liao@international.gc.ca).
