THREE NATIONS TOPS IN COLLABORATION
A new index launched at the Going Global conference attempts to quantify a country’s higher education system in terms of its degree of openness to different forms of international collaboration. This is part of a larger study to determine what kind of environment increases the inflow and outflow of students and how countries compare in encouraging collaboration overseas. The index tracked related policies in 11 countries by the British Council with the Economist Intelligence Unit. China ranked 4 among all the countries. Top 3 are Germany, Australia and UK.
