Universities from Chinese mainland climb up world rankings
According to the new Times Higher Education world universities rankings published last week, Universities from the Chinese mainland have improved their relative position, with two edging into the top 50. Peking University crept up one place to 45th, while Tsinghua University rose two places to a joint 50th. Four other universities entered the top 300, namely Fudan University, the University of Science and Technology of China, Renmin University and Nanjing University.
