Beijing hosts Sino-US Medical Education Forum
The Sino-US Medical Education Forum was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on September 20. This year’s theme, “Better Education and Healthcare” sought to facilitate discussions about medical school education and how reforms and cooperation in education and training could better serve the needs of medical and health services in the future. The forum highlighted the history of medical cooperation between the US and China including the Peking Union Medical College, which is supported by the Rockefeller Foundation in the US.
