Chinese-German Institute of Engineering opens at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology
The German Institute of Engineering at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology had its opening ceremony on October 18, 2014. The first Sino-German partnership at the undergraduate level in Zhejiang province was set up with the cooperation of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, Lubeck University of Applied Sciences (Germany), and West Coast University of Applied Sciences (Germany). Enrollment is slated to begin in the fall of 2014 with electrical and civil engineering programs and an initial target of 65 students.
