Columbia University Medical Center and DeltaHealth to open heart center in Shanghai
Private Chinese healthcare service provider DeltaHealth reached an agreement with Columbia University’s Division of Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology and Columbia HeartSource to develop a heart center in Shanghai, expected to open in late 2015. Professionals from the Columbia University Heart Team will provide consultation and advice to DeltaHealth on developing high-quality clinical protocols, and will also train doctors and staff in innovative cardiovascular procedures and patient care. The heart center aims to leverage the cumulative expertise of both parties in a collaborative effort to pioneer a new international standard for cardiovascular care in China.
