We are looking for a talented, dedicated professional to support Grok and Grok Schools Community in S.E. Asia, based in either Vietnam or Malaysia.

The role’s primary focus will be to assist Grok Schools Community clients engage with Grok’s network of high schools in the region. You will be responsible for not only expanding this network, but thinking of ways to implement best practise for clients to engage with schools in a meaningful way, and to help them establish long-term relationships.

You will play a key role in developing the service by working with a range of universities from all major study destinations and pairing them with well-matched high schools within Grok’s schools network. As well as working with high school counselors to create opportunities to interact with their student – whether online or in person – you will work closely with our client universities to understand their unique value proposition, and to find ways for them to utilize their strengths in the form engaging deliverable content.

In addition, you will be responsible for planning Grok’s regional S.E. Asia high school fairs which take place twice a year – in the fall and spring semesters. This will require the you to work closely with high school counselors to determine fair format and scheduling.

You will also be expected to:

  • Provide insightful market updates and analysis on the high schools channel within Southeast Asia to inform future planning.
  • Act as subject matter expert constantly refreshing knowledge through training, self-study, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Use data and surveys to continuously improve the service line and determine how our clients interact with high schools.

The position involves frequent, sophisticated interaction with international universities. Travel within the region may play a small, but not extensive part of the role.

 

The Most Suitable Background

  • 2+ years of experience in a role related to education or international education either in a high school setting or with a higher education institution
  • Experience counseling high school students is a plus
  • A deep understanding of how high schools operate in S.E. Asia and the different types of curricula they use
  • Experience of planning and managing events for multiple stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree with good to strong academic performance
  • Working proficiency in English
