Grok Global Services is looking for a talented, dedicated professional to be a Beijing or Shanghai-based Student Recruitment and Marketing Advisor supporting Clark University via Grok’s Program Office service. The successful candidate will be fully dedicated to working on behalf of Clark University in engaging the China market to advance Clark’s graduate-level student recruitment efforts.

Profile of Candidate 

The successful candidate’s primary role will be carrying out the university’s recruitment activities across China, including visiting and training agent partners, cultivating relationships with counselors, attending education fairs, and engaging with prospective students and applicants. Other responsibilities include assisting in the follow-up and conversion of offer-holders, as well as supporting brand-building and social media marketing activities on Chinese platforms. The position involves frequent, sophisticated interaction with administration and faculty from the university and significant travel time is required (40%).

The ideal candidate has experience representing a foreign educational institution and/or supporting student recruitment efforts related to studying abroad.

 

The Most Suitable Background

  • 2-5 years of experience in increasingly responsible roles related to education or international education.
  • Experience representing a foreign institution will be a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance is required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Preference would be given to candidates with education experience in the U.S.
  • Marketing experience, especially on social media marketing platforms such as WeChat and Weibo. Experience with Canva or InDesign is an asset.
  • Strong English and Chinese fluency. Proficient in business writing. Able to discuss strategy and analysis with English and Chinese speakers.
