Joe Morrison Joins Grok Education Services
September 20, 2013. Grok Education Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Morrison as our Managing Director, Business Development.
As Grok expands service delivery beyond China and India to South East Asia and Latin America and as we expand the range of our services to universities and colleges, Joe brings to our clients added expertise in business development and large-scale project planning and implementation, as well as client relationship management.
Joe comes to us as an experienced business executive. Previously he was the global head of sales for Lab49, a financial technology consulting firm with offices in New York, London, DC, and Sydney, and before that as an entrepreneur in the 1990s he started a technology company, raised venture capital for expansion and successfully sold the company in 2001.
Joe brings to Grok deep expertise in building client relationships, collaborating on defining solutions, negotiating fair agreements, and creating mutually profitable, lasting partnerships. Joe also brings to the role proven expertise in major project development and delivery.
Joe holds a BMath from University of Waterloo and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
