MORE HK STUDENT ENTER MAINLAND CHINA FOR FURTHER STUDY

China Education News

A group of 206 Hong Kong students arrived in Beijing on July 24 for a four-day visit organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations that is aimed at allowing them to explore Chinese culture.
With more exchanges between Hong Kong students and their counterparts on the Chinese mainland, the number of Hong Kong students who end up choosing to take their degrees on the mainland, especially at top universities, has been increasing in recent years. This trend highlights the distinct natures of Hong Kong and mainland China, the growing economic and cultural importance of mainland China for Hong Kong residents, and the increasing quality of the education provided by the top mainland Chinese universities.
