Qingdao positioning itself as leader in marine education
The city of Qingdao, Shandong province, hosted the 3rd annual Ocean Education Forum on November 20, 2014.Three hundred scholars and experts representing dozens of maritime study centers across China came together to discuss a range of topics including general maritime awareness, innovation in marine education, and promoting marine related career paths. The award for top national maritime study center was awarded to the North China Sea Environmental Monitoring Center, North China Sea Marine Forecasting Center.
