British Columbia eases immigration policy for international students
British Columbia announced a reduction, from 12 months to 8 months, the minimum required period of study to be eligible to apply for the province’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). International students who graduated from a Canadian university or college in the past two years are eligible for the program. In addition to students with undergraduate or graduate degrees, diploma or certificate students from public post-secondary institutions are also able to apply.
