Two universities in Singapore rise to world’s top 15

The National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) have risen to be among the top 15 universities in the world for the first time, according to QS rankings for 2015/2016 released on September 15, 2015.
NUS ranked 12th for QS’s global university rankings, rising 10 places from 2014, while NTU followed NUS in the ranking at 13th, jumping 26 places year-over-year. Both universities surpassed traditional Ivy League and European universities such as Yale, John Hopkins, Cornell, and King’s College London this year.
