UGC likely to allow MPhil and PhD enrolment through distance education
The University Grants Commission (UGC) is actively considering relaxing its norms around distance education, which would enable distance education institutions to offer MPhil and PHD programs, benefiting nearly 10,000 students. The issueis expectedto be put before the next meeting of the commission.
