University of Virginia opens office in Shanghai
The University of Virginia opened an office in Shanghai as the school aims to grow its presence in China. A growing number of alumni living and working in China, and Asia more broadly, was one of the motivations for the school to establish the new office. With China’s ever-growing importance in the global study-abroad market, increasing numbers of U.S. universities are considering setting up physical presences in China.
