Business schools adjust to new technologies
Business schools around the world are seeking to adjust to new technological developments that are having an impact on everything from course content and delivery to marketing, recruiting, and off-campus programs. One example is Massive Open Online Courses, which make higher education more accessible but create challenges in physical attendance, communication, and differentiation of the learning environment.
According to the participants who attended the 2014 Business Schools Dean’s Workshop at Tongji University in Shanghai on Oct. 11, business schools are increasing investments in new technologies while also continuing to enhance the quality of traditional forms of education to maintain their competitiveness in a dynamic market.
