We are looking for a talented, dedicated professional to support Grok’s higher education partner institutions’admission processes via Grok Global’s Program Office, based in either Chennai, Mumbai, or New Delhi.

The role’s primary focus will be to provide preliminary assessment of student applications against the institution’s established requirements. The successful applicant will be expected to display a high level of accuracy in their work output with a strong attention to detail. The role is part of a wider team of Admission Advisors. Together you will work towards achieving team goals focused on meeting client deliverables.

 

Position responsibilities

  • Review of admission applications forwarded by the University to verify receipt of all necessary documents required for analysis and, if required, request missing and additional documentation.
  • Provide back-office review of completed applications against University-established admission requirements to make a preliminary assessment as to whether or not applicants fulfil the minimum admission requirements.
  • Provide back-office review of completed university applications against University-established scholarship requirements to make a preliminary assessment as to whether or not applicants fulfil the minimum scholarship requirements.
  • Advisory services on trends in the Indian education system, including changes in Indian curriculum composition, Indian university ranking changes and analysis against various global university curriculum,
  • Provide supporting document collection against university checklists for credit-mapping applications,
  • Compare and analyse course lists from multiple universities to identify content matching and divergences.

 

The Most Suitable Background

  • 3+ years of experience in increasingly responsible roles related to education or international education.
  • Experience working as an admission advisor to a foreign university will be an advantage.
  • Experience working with visa departments of foreign governments will be an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree with good to strong academic performance.
  • Strong English at a Professional Working Proficiency.
  • Experience with establishing short term as well as long term priorities.
  • Worked in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Voluntary or other life experience that demonstrates creativity, hard work, persistence, and a drive to succeed.
