Numbers of US-China exchange students ever rising
In 2013, there were 25,156 US students in China according to the Ministry of Education: 1,363 undergraduate students, 1,351 graduate students and 22,442 non-degree students.
The number of Chinese students heading to the US to study is also increasing. The 2014 report on the trend of Chinese students studying abroad, released by China Education Online, shows that the number increased from 62,582 in the 2005-06 academic year to 235,597 in 2012-13.
